Douglas Squirrel

This adorable fellow is the noisiest mammal in the forest. He uses a broad range of calls to guard his territory, and to warn other animals of approaching predators. If you're walking a trail and hear a loud repetitive chirp, look around, you just might find a Douglas giving you the eye.
