Yellow Pine Chipmunk

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Yellow Pine Chipmunk, one of the smallest members  of the squirrel family, can be found throughout Washington State, primarily in brushy coniferous forests but also in rocky outcroppings and low-lying meadows. We found this one on Goat Wall high above Mazama in the Methow Valley.
