With its intimidating profile, Sperry Peak is one of the most popular climbing and hiking destinations in the North Cascades.  The north face, rising over 3000 ft in less than half a mile, summits at 6140 ft.  Named after Dick Sperry, a prospector from the late 1800s, it was first summited in 1927.
