This spectacular lagoon is surrounded by a golden meadow thought to be the last prairie left in Western Washington. It's looped by the Ebey's Landing Bluff Trail which begins high atop a cliff bluff (not for the faint of heart), then descends rapidly to the beach below, separating the lagoon from the Pacific Ocean. Speckled with shorebirds, golden paintbrush, and sun-bleached driftwood, this is a very enchanted and protected place.
