On the way back from Cascade Pass, we stopped to explore a beautiful stream carving its way down the mountain. Officially named the North Fork Cascade River, its journey down the mountain has brought with it a wealth of semi-precious stones and multi-colored rocks worn smooth by the power of the stream's crystal clear water.
