Perhaps the most ornate of all the Bleeding Heart varieties, the King of Hearts makes quite an impression, both for its color and unique structure. It's kin, the Pacific Bleeding Heart can be found growing wild in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, though considerably more subdued in tone and presentation. Bleeding Hearts represent love in all its forms: romantic, innocent, unconditional, and sadly, even unrequited.
