The Upper Methow Valley is host to many high mountain peaks and glacially carved landscapes popular with hikers and experienced rock climbers.  Located on the east slopes of the North Cascades, the surrounding sub-alpine forests of pine and fir trees are also home to rugged mountain streams powered by the melting glaciers above.
