Bygone Days at Padilla Bay
Where the Skagit River meets the Salish Sea, the Padilla Bay Reserve is an estuary at the saltwater edge of Puget Sound. Home to generations of local tribes, fisherman and farmers, the area is now a wildlife preserve with several miles of hiking trails and the remnants of rural life from days gone by.
