Christine Falls
Van Trump Creek, located on the way to Paradise in the Mount Rainier National Park, falls 96 ft. in two tiers forming Christine Falls. The creek's namesake, P.B. Van Trump - who named the falls after his daughter, Christine - was a legendary alpine climber. In 1889, at the age of nine, Van Trump reportedly first ascended Mount Rainier to an elevation of 10,000 ft.
