Cattle Point Lighthouse

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Cattle Point Lighthouse overlooks the southeastern point of the Straight of Juan de Fuca on San Juan Island. It was built in 1935 and has been added to the San Juan Islands National Monument for preservation. Cattle Point offers amazing views of whales and shorebirds, but more commonly seals. We spotted several feeding in the waves on the day we visited.
